Agreed with most of the others here, a mix of both is good. It is fun to have both the nervous and inexperienced, and the confident and knows what she likes.
I would agree with the others. A mix is always good, plus you can play with the idea of the girl that seems innocent is actually experienced and the one always talking about it is a virgin.
I find virgins to be very unbelieveable.
It could work in some settings but the idea of woman being virgins in modern settings isnt believeable.
Beyond that the only difference between virgins and none virgins in terms of story/scene is if they bleed or not.
Not a big enough difference for me to care about.
I don't care at all whether a girl is a virgin or not. However, I care about relations between characters being realistic. And it appears to me that a harem is more likely to actually work in practice if all the girls are virgins. This kind of thing is only going to work with a power differential, and that's greatest with a sexually experienced MC vs. a bunch of virgins with an incomplete understanding of how the world works.
Less cynically speaking, you don't want them talking behind the MC's back about the relative advantages of their ex-partners. Even if they were all losers, there would likely be an element of one-upmanship leading to the belief by some girls that the MC isn't the best thing that could ever happen to them. Which is inevitable anyway. But it would happen too early -- at a point when it would likely destroy the harem.
A poll w/o the poll? Insert meme: [Not going to lie, had me on the 1st half].
Anywho, doesn't really matter to me, since I've been skipping most text of late, so wouldn't even really notice either way (unless they have that blood thing or tells you specifically).
Ps. orz really should try getting M1, since wanted to react to bunch of posts here.
