discussion Is anyone speedrunning any games?

Good day fellow lewdies hope your all doing well.

As some of you might know SGDQ (Summer Games Done Quick) is going on right now and it made me wonder. Is anyone in this community interested in speedrunning? I've enjoyed speed running since the early days of YouTube and even though I mostly spectate, I have done a few speedruns here and there myself (resident evil, doom, mega-man). As and aside I also did a run for "Lust Epidemic" and I'm curious if anyone has or does run porn games. Thank you all for your time, hope you enjoy the rest of your day.

I'm not timing myself, but I try to get through these games as fast as I can. I'll even skip walls of text if the story starts to get stale.

Only when I'm playing NTR games without gallery mod. Or any FMC games I just Speedrun it and watch sex scenes tbh.

I've been trying to speedrun a game called White Knuckle for a while now. It lowkey stresses me out though so I only do a few runs per day.

I don't time myself either and I don't typically try to get through porn games fast. Hell i dont' skip the text if its a decent story and i haven't played through it once or twice.
Problem for me is, I've played wayyy too many porn games so I can tell within the first 10-15 minutes for most games if i should start skipping walls of text.

And even then, MANY times when i'm skipping walls of text, because I played so many porn games, if the pacing of porn scenes is shitty / there is a massive lack of progress, I just give up and move on.
That is what happens when you been bamboozled so many times like i have. I've fallen for the 'oh it may get better' but never does idea so many times that I lost that innocence.

Not sure speedrun is the right term, but I use URM so I can edit variables and select locked options more easily. It cuts out basically all the grind unless the dev has seriously gone in and built custom spaghetti code for something.

Love to watch speedrunners.. but actual speedrunning is way to stressful for me. I have to watch a clock for work, the last thing I want to do is watch one when im hanging out playing vidya.
