I have heard many different explanations of the tag in question. I have hear that it has to lead to prostitution, or sharing. I have heard that it can be used just for making a sex slave to yourself. What does it mean to you?

I see it as a of like hypnosis. probably one of my favorite tags but so few good ones these days.

“Just” Making someone a slave isn’t corruption to me. It’s not about the act, rape, torture or abuse are just that. Even mind control, while fun isnt corruption if they are being forced.

To me corruption is about making the person change mentally and/or physically to actually enjoy what they are doing, even if it’s temporary.

This can be done through force, chemicals or mind control but ultimately there needs to be a moment where they are a willing participant in their own debasement and defilement.

I like corruption…. Like corrupting others…I like pushing limits and making people fall further and further….

Yeah, it's not just that the person is doing X, corruption is when the game focuses on gradually changing the person's attitude towards X.

I suppose that, in this particular context, "corruption" would mean forcing or encouraging someone to behave in a manner contrary to their usual mode of behaviour. For example, if a girl is already sexually active, then encouraging her to have sex isn't really "corruption". If however the girl is not sexually active, then encouraging (or forcing) her to have sexual encounters would indicate having a corrupting influence. I agree that this is a rather simplistic explanation, but I don't think that reducing this thread to a string of legalistic arguments would be helpful.

Control a character or induce a character to become X or Y. For example, if a game has the tags "Corruption" and "Female protagonist" depending if you are the girl or the girl is the co-protagonist, you induce her to become pervert, make ntr, etc.

The Corruption tag means so much to me.
It's always been there for me when I needed it.
But yeah, like others have said, it's about taking someone pure and innocent and slowly helping them embrace... new possibilities.

I'd say it's taking a person and making them the mirror universe version of them.

If they're a pure soul we'd be turning them into a dirty boy/girl.

I always see corruption as a supporting tag to juice up other "main tags" if you will. Like incest or NTR. In incest it is seeing your sweet family turn to the taboo and twisting the family bonds. And NTR to see your loved ones toss pure love to indulge in pleasure

I think corruption to me is making the other person think that there the ones that are incorrect. That somehow it's them being the weirdos not me that what I'm having them do is more normal than what they've been doing all this time.
