Like a lot of devs, this "realism" of trying to show night scenes with reduced lighting is just annoying AF, and it seems that devs don't understand that the players can tell night from day with constant lighting based on the text, and would rather SEE the content that have 90% darkness in the scenes.

I agree. People forget that the eye will adjust for low light in real life but not compensate for games.
