My impression is that various kinds of weird games, gay games etc. come in waves. No doubt that's because these updates are made by just a few people, so you can see what those currently active are interested in (or at least tend to stumble over). If you want LC to be more complete in more mainstream games, you can probably contribute by becoming a game uploader.

Thats because, atleast for me, i upload Games because they are not on this Website, not because i like them, and if a lot of "those" Games come out, then youll just see a lot of those in the LU Page.
it really just depends on what kind of games people put out.
we just take them and upload them, not search for specific games that some people MIGHT Enjoy.
everyone has different preferences, so some days a lot of games that you might like will get uploaded, other days there will be waves of games you do not like. Thats just how it goes.

I get the not for me vibe that happens from time to time. I dislike when we get a wave of AI releases. The art style puts me off or the low effort content. A few years from now this might be better.

Uploaders can only upload what gets a new patch or is not present. Filtering out furry still gets plenty of new updates. If smols don't bother you but kitten ears do I am not sure you will ever find a site that matches you exactly.

The first 5 games on the Latest update page use Daz renders. Even 6 hours ago when you posted this there were multiple Daz and Real Porn games on the first page. I get that the furry vore game is a boner killer, but that doesn't mean the whole site belongs in the trash. This isn't FurAffinity, we've got other shit here.

So guys, I am not trying to trash this site, and I know I find stuff in here that I dont find many other places, but i think lately the games has shifted into more AI, 2D, "japan-style weird stuff" (no offence). I get it, people have different preferences, and thats all fine. I am just having a hard time finding the kind of games I like to play. Thats all..

It's been the same on F*95 for the last few months. Plus a lot of games with Japanese graphics and games with real porn tag (it's all on my blacklist). By the way, in the closed section, about 60% of the games shown are Japanese or pseudo-Japanese graphics.
The last new project I'm keeping an eye on is dated last fall. Everything else I download from time to time are updates to those 12 or 13 projects I follow. Compared to 2023, for example, there's a surprising stagnation.
I don't think the personal preferences of admins are the problem here. This is probably the general trend.

My take is with how long a Daz render takes. People have moved to AI for how easy it is. I am guilty of that myself, but since my ComfiUi broke, I'm playing in Daz again for a bit.

It's all about tastes. I think I mostly agree with you, but that just might mean I'm picky. Thing is, others might like those styles.

Daz (and whatever equivalent, there were other weird names I can't remember atm) is my go to by default.

But I do agree, if I take out Honey Select, Vam, 2d cartoons, real porn, THEN remove the tags I can't stand (recently gave up on Sandbox), it really trims it all down.
That's especially true if you're like me that checked every day for game updates, since, holy shit, 2017-ish?
I've either played it all, or avoided it all on purpose (!).

Finally, as far as AI, right now, I think (hope?) it's at the "late 90s Dial Up Internet" level. Wait 25 years, and I'm thinking (hoping?) that it would become my new go to.
I say "would become" because in 25 years... I'll likely be dead one way or another, heh.
