Reminds me of my first few years out of college - in a big public accounting firm and 80-100 hour weeks during the two and a half months of "busy season" were common. We got straight comp time or paid out based upon base salary/2080 (standard work year at 40/wk). Of course, all of my work was mental, not physical - just the physical toll of sleep deprivation.

Hope you don't get burned out - easy to do when you work that long of a day for too many days in a row.

Nope, they still work there, but left a good present for them today.
Today I've spent a few hours Basically reseting nearly an entire week of progress I did using an ilegal remote access from a Lan house PC.

They won't be using my stuff to work anymore as well, because i deleted the massive ".txt" file backup with all the code optimizations I wrote while working there.

Now I'm a happy person lol.

Switch 2 increasing game prizes AND removing physical copies is a ballsy move, but in the end I don't think it will affect sales as much as it should. I feel that in a couple of years basic versions of AAA games on all platforms will probably be $90-$100, which is insane.

I will say, as far as I've gathered, it's like with some games, where you get a code, you have to input to download it.
It's not all games that will be that way... And apparently, you're supposed to be able to lend them to a friend like normal physical games.
Still doesn't make it right though....

It’s expensive, true. That’s the era we now live in. I have a feeling someone will go to extreme lengths to break piracy laws, just hope I’m wrong.
