Hi there. Let's start a collection of recommendations what to watch, if one has the time next to all that porn. ;-)
And if we're lucky, the one or other of those series will be made into an AVN.

I'm currently watching:
The Good Place - a hilariously funny series about the afterlife of some less than perfect humans in The Good Place and about the Architect, who designed that place. Heartwarming too. Absolutely binge worthy! (it's hard to stop watching once you start) - And I would totally like to see an AVN with Eleanor and Tahani!

Before that I watched:
Man on the inside - another comedy about an older man who infiltrates a senior care home. Hilarious and heartwarming again. And the reason I checked out The Good Place, because Ted Danson was so funny and I thought 'let's see what else he did'.

Other series I like:
Well, the obvious ones are Doctor Who, Babylon 5, Firefly, Star Trek and a lot of Star Wars (Andor, especially).
But also The Expanse. That was so well written!

So, what are you currently watching that you can recommend?

I thought Dollhouse was really interesting and well written. basically people who sign up to have their minds reprogrammed for the highest bidders.

but I'm currently watching Invincible on amazon.

idk depends on ones genre preference. like for people into sci fi but not so much fantasy stargate sg1 has like 13 seasons of episodes you can binge in parts, then stargate atlantis which is much shorter is a good long weekend binge. but if you like a lil more fantasy and space adventure killjoys is a better binge. if youre into supernatural but not wanting to watch the tv show of the same name there was good stuff like being human, both uk and american version are good, sanctuary was good, there was one show that started really good was like supernatural suspense mystery but kinda got stupid, still fun to do a binge on once think it was called haven. then you got quirky comedy sci, eureka was decent but best when also bouncing back n forth with warehouse 13, til you get to their later seasons, its okay to just stop watching. lol in fact i think most of those shows stream on syfy channel. some were originals. ooh a great sci fi fantasy they had was farscape, just dont watch the later seasons of stargate sg1 within the same months, it ruins them with the 2 main stars of farscape falling into stargates last seasons. sure not as cameos but they also act the exact same in both shows, so it kinda feels like sometimes, thus best not to watch both round the same time. then there are the classics, babylon 5 and both versions of battlestar galactica.

on a last note, great for binge only magicians. just stop watching second to last season if you want a good ending. show drifts off when a main actor stopped doing the show to be present in his new home life, which is cool and all, but killed the show really. it felt like if they held like the main 5 character cast they could have went a few more seasons easily, and maybe even an ending worthy of the first few seasons. the last season wasnt bad, just missing. thats the problem with shows based off books, even when you rewrite some things, the most important characters are the sun of that universe, the whole story revolves around them, its unavoidable. and when you move on from them, its no longer the same story, trying to make it the same story never works well. like that crap shoot of a show wheel of time. season 1 was so bad and they butchered the nature of so many of the main characters i never bothered picking up season 2. dont even know if the show exists anymore, for me it doesnt regardless. luckily i still have the books,

well that was long and rambling and i stuck to sci fi fantasy, i could go on other binge shows but ill stop rambling now, right after this one last sci fi show, cause idk just really liked binge watching it before the 100 streaming sites war began. the original Roswell(unless you dont do 90s teen angst tv shows with indie and alt rock music that was low fi before low fi existed. pretty sure mazzy star fade into you was in a few episodes lol)

i liked dollhouse, but whedon is only good for like 1 season, buffy ruined his ability to sit still

'It's Always Sunny in Philidelphia' is always a good laugh! Easy to watch as every episode is its own adventure. It's a group of 5 that own a bar in Philly and get themselves into all kinds of HILARIOUS trouble. The legend Danny DeVito is one of the 5 btw.

'Spartacus' is one of the best gladiator adaptations I've seen. Beautiful, gruesome, and heartbreaking. A real dive into the lives of gladiators, behind the fights.

'Haunting of Bly Manor' is a GREAT horror show! That one is tough to explain but well worth a watch.

I usually try and watch show with endings. Hate it when they get axed.

Continuum was pretty good, sci fi about corporations ruling the world.
Fringe was great, xfiles kind of episodes half the tme, the other half a spoiler, ends up being a love story.
Dark is interesting, gloomy as fuck, but its a decent story full of twists and turns and no plot holes until like the last 4 episodes, as well as one random completely meaningless character they throw in near the end as a twist
Life on Mars i really enjoyed, a cop show, but not, too many spoilers.
Mr Robot is kind of Fight Club the tv show, but you with only have spoilers for the first season if you have seen fight club.
The Mentalist has good humour though its not a comedy, and is a fun cop show.
Banshee is excellent too, though i feel it goes a little joss whedon at the end, kind of a vigalante story, kinda.

Everyone is a great binge watch.

If you be a ted danson enjoyer. Bored to death is a great PI story that everytime you think its going to be super cringe ends up not being. Great Danson character in it. Though it got axed after the second season :(
Becker is a fun sitcom until reggie leaves, and then it goes down hill, but its got a few seasons of ted danson being a grumpy GP Doctor, and is pretty funny sometimes.

Both are worth a watch if you dont mind shows that dont get "endings"

Dramas that are/were comfort food for me, Dr. House, Supernatural, Blacklist, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The West Wing.

They are long series, bingeable. That will give you something to watch for a long time.

Also watch Lost if you haven't seen it.

Also, It's always Sunny in Philadelphia is the one show I wish I could forget so I can watch it all over again.

Seconding Babylon 5, Stargate, The Good Place, The Expanse, and Continuum recommendations. All great shows.

I'd add:

  • Basically the whole DCAU; it's all great
  • Star Trek DS9; much more rewatchable for me than any of the series and (Sisko is mathematically the best captain)
  • Malcom in the Middle; old sitcom, still hilarious, no laugh track
  • The X-Files; it's classic
  • Smallville; it's fun and nostalgic even though, honestly, if Clark weren't a retard each season would be like four episodes (also more watchable for me because Kristin Kreuk was one of my earliest TV crushes)
  • Heroes; some of the writing was sorta good!
  • Community
  • The Boondocks
  • Rome
  • Burn Notice
  • Leverage

Detective with unusual partner crime series are generally good for binging.
* Castle
* Lucifer
* Bones
* Mentalist
* Sherlock / Elementary

SciFi:
* Expanse
* BattleStar Galactica .. 2000s reboot, original is definitely not bingeworthy :LOL:
* firefly

Serious:
* The Wire
* that dark British crime series with Idris Elba where he's a detective. cant remember the name right now but I think it started with "L".

Comedy:
* not everyones taste, but Schitts Creek

Invincible is one of my favorites I have watched lately, hope you are enjoying it!

Another one worth mentioning is The Bear - latest season wasn’t quite as good as the previous two but I always watch the full season night of release for all 3 seasons so far.

Thank you for the recommendation!

I'm currently watching Wheel of Time. Loved the books and the series doesn't disappoint.
