My experience as DM after giving out a bunch of quest lines they can follow,

I played some back in the mid 90s.. and we played with this guy Todd.. who always said he was the 4th highest ranked DM in North America.

Every damn time we'd play.. he'd start off like "You're in a dark forest." Like, motherfucker.. can't we be someplace else for a change?

I can create titles too, I was 3rd highest rank in North Eastern US very prestigious. Unless your name is Gygax how do you rank DMs.
To this day still don't mind just you're in a tavern.

It has been a very long, very stressful work day, I'm going to do some back reading and then chill the rest of the night. Might pop in here and there. I hope everyone's day has been less stressful than mine.
