A danger sense where people could perceive levels of hostility from others.

That would be so useful!! uggggh I can't even say how many times that would have saved my tail!

How about a kind of hardwired empathy? The sense would make you feel what the person(s) that are ultimately affected by what you are about to do or think about to do would feel. (of course it'd need to be 'mandatory' for everyone to work)
You want to insult someone.. go ahead, but you'll feel insulted.
Want to rob someone at gunpoint? You'll feel their fear.
Be a greedy politician who helps rich people getting richer by ripping off the poor? Feel the despair and anger of the people who you'll make struggle financially (you'll also feel the 'joy' of the rich ppl but they are by far outnumbered by the ones negatively affected so you'll feel much more of the negative)
Be a good politician who wants to make sure everyone can have at least a basic secure outcome? Upsetting the rich elite by taking a chunk of their stuff and feel that, but feel the overwhelming relieve of all the people who won't have to life with fear of knowing how to pay food/rent at the end of the month.
Wage war against a neighboring nation just fo the power and glory of olden days? .. i don't need to paint the picture here i think.


Oh yeah and give out free BJs or other means to make others cum, cause every time you make someone cum you'll feel part of that too, soo... WIN-WIN!

I'm not sure as my family had a hobby farm when I was young. We had cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, goats and cats at different times, not sure if these count as pets. Likely my first actual pet was a fish.

Not sure a goat counts as a weird pet, but they sure were fun. Was interesting hand milking them too.
Maybe to be able to mind read? That would be great in some ways but very bad in a lot of ways. As someone who is generally honest, it would be nice to know if others were actually being honest with me, but I'm also very sensitive, so I bet my feeling (my one feeling) would get hurt often...

I would have loved growing up on a farm!!!! goats are one of the only animals I'm not to fond of...... I'm sure they can be great critters.... but those square pupils freak me out

Hm this may be a bit tangential, but it would be cool to have a greater control over your senses and imagination that you could actively hallucinate. You’d be able to imagine something that feels real enough to touch, taste, smell etc.

Pretty sure if we could do that most people would just starve to death lol. but I can imagine the benefits!!!! so many things to experience only limited by your own creativity!!!

Not quite sure if its allowed here but back then in my country it was not illegal to forage and extract hallucinogenic substances.

I once was very high on psilocybin that my friend and I brew off specific mushrooms, and I am chasing this high ever since. I swear I was able to smell colors and see sounds. Some recent developments made shrooms itself illegal but you still can legally buy truffles that contain psilocybin, though the potency is much lower.

So yeah, long story short - I want to experience that sensation again...

A raven. "Old Raven" is one of my nicknames IRL because of how I look and dress, combined with people knowing I've always loved crows and ravens.

I mentioned in a previous answer that I may mention my first daughter in one of your earlier QOTD's and this is the one.

If I could be anyone for a day, I would want to be my first daughter.

She was a gift to me by the ex prior to my wife. At that time, my wife and I lived in separate states and hadn't spoken in years but not by choice. I've had feelings for my wife ever since we were kids and thought I'd never see her again so all of my interactions with women after her were melancholic at best and actively self-destructive at worst. This one started off very self destructive and I should have seen warning signs from the start but I was in a very bad place and this particular ex showed up and seemed very understanding and loving at the time.

We ended up in a relationship which was a rollercoaster to put it mildly and more and more red flags started to show up that something wasn't quite right with her, mentally. (It turned out later, after the attempted stabbing, that she has BPD - Borderline Personality Disorder)

By the time I started seeing the red flags, though, she'd gotten pregnant and I'd already opened up to her about appreciating certain.. Japanese art.. and she seemed accepting.

And then, she had a miscarriage.. and the grief ruined us both but it broke her. I don't know if it just forced the twisted parts of her mind to the surface to be seen or if it was grief and pain that truly broke her but she started blaming me, insinuating that I would have hurt our daughter because I liked this art, and eventually venomously spat out that she was glad our daughter died because she wouldn't want her anywhere near someone "sick" like me. All of this on the same day we learned the news.

I was boiling with rage at her, but all I could do was coldly tell her that anyone that could ever be glad for the death of their child - our little girl - wasn't just a monster but a soulless shell that clearly never felt or could ever feel love, and I walked away and outside - which I usually tried to do in moments like these. Typically after the venom was unleashed, I'd go for a walk or a drive, things would calm in a few hours and we'd get back to some semblance of normality again in a few days.

This time, though, I only got a few steps outside our door - which I slammed HARD which (thankfully) alerted the neighbors - when I heard her scream at me from behind and before I could react she'd already cut me several times before I managed to grab her wrists.

..if I could be anyone, I would want to be my unborn daughter - even if only for a day - so that I could know if she felt happiness at all. Could she hear me singing to her? Did she know I called her my Little Rose? Did she feel any pain..? And if she did.. I'd want to be her for every second of that pain so she would never have to feel it.
