Personally I have only made one deposit in the bank of 40k and have had no problems with the collection times myself. I cannot remember how many collections I have made, but I currently have 9,230,000 in coins in the bank.
Well considering how easy it is to get AC coins, I don't see why this is necessary.
One deposit ever?
The top 1% will never understand most users are not and will not ever reach most ranks as they keep changing. don't have the time nor patience to spend our lives collecting internet Coins by making multi posts, collecting Dev pics with insider info nor by paying into it. It would be like a CEO telling McDonald employees it's so easy to be a millionaire, but they never elaborate because if it were easy everyone would be one. Which is antithetical to the site making money and so new ranks, price increases, and maybe even the new Platinum Coins happened.
As far as I know most expenses are the consistent ones that keep the site going.
Too vague.
Yes, would be nice. Is often announced on discord...
Agreed. I think one that's earned through participation and one that is obtained from donations (or at the discretion of mods) is enough.
Not needed at all. So easy to get coins right now. We've had many users who have gone from 0 to 40k coins in a week or two.
With coins for reactions, posts, threads, and easy-to-earn awards for art awards and contests, there's really no need for random coins.
1. All the recent updates have been failures and the excuses for failures were designers not doing their jobs or taking too long and more. Can't think of a update that Kav was happy with and more come every couple weeks without much thought or planning hence the upset from him and members in each forced Thread.
2. Should read through more posts, ErzuzB said the same in something you quoted and I added.
3. Why not on the site itself? Don't want to join yet another site that is likely being monitored.
7. What is Platinum Coin? Was it mentioned on site? Last forced Thread I had seen at least one other confused about it as well.
8. 40k from trading or spending a work day a week posting or uploading art? Doesn't sound feasible for most to get P this or P that in half a yr so at best wait for mega interest after a year or more to build up before building most P. Increasing time on site seems rather antithetical to the original purpose, playing the games, and to keeping the site off radar. Longer it is open for multi users the greater chance someone gets caught and the site invaded.
New here, so, all I can offer is first impressions, but everything is mostly fine as far as I can see, the actual functionality of the site is more than enough. However, as the ads were apparently removed recently (adblock so can't say if it kept or not) and the site will have to rely entirely on donos, it would probably be best to make the benefits for doing so much clearer, as there's been multiple different answers just recently on costs of the different coins or prestige ranks and such. Unless there's a good reason for the indirect answers, it's just been a bit confusing so far.
Edit*: Literally right after I hit post I just realized that the name of the coins were changed in the last couple of days as well? thought I had it figured out but not certain now, gonna have to go looking into it again.
Ad removal was a nice change, especially as it would randomly pop up blocking game filter at times lol
It can get confusing from time to time, I would link to some Threads for help with info but I don't know where to find them other than scrolling through Forms somewhere.
I'm not a Mod but from what I've seen in the past year or so and more recently than not the site undoubtedly needs, for lack of the word coming to me, coherently planned update goals with transparency from those hired as that seemed to be an issue on several occasions. Some things were not though out such as repeated backtracking on forced Threads then Threads next messages then Threads again or forced Threads before that and finally forced Threads again. Which make sense in some cases.
Just take a look at the early comments on the second or third last forced Thread, it's baffling how they cost hundreds if not thousands per update but keep failing without anyone seriously putting their foot down and creating transparent plans ensuring it stops happening. I could see a few due to being a first update type thing or unknown coders hired or something except it is nearly every update is not each. Surely someone on site knows someone capable of structuring what is needed, ensuring it is followed through and the right coder or designer or whatever are hired?
This Thread was basically just a way for those with suggestions to add to the mix for their voices to be heard so if Kav or any Mods liked them or though of something after reading through could go from there seeing what could improve the site and what they maybe want to try again (if anything) or remove. Food for thought. I was hoping it would be a bit more constructive, building off ideas or working out why the systems in place are the way they are. Guidance and Threads for newer Members is also a bonus I had not anticipated but glad it works out that way.
I'm glad Mods checked out this Thread and are making posts but are there any changes you all would like to see implemented in someway or another either magically if the code gods allow or (preferably) realistic changes even if they may not happen for this reason or another?
