Metric system is great. But I really want an additional "dumb" explanations in case of severe weather conditions. Because lot of people can`t understand XX mm of accumulated precipitation and wind gusts of XX m/s. In the end emergency services get F up because people could not understand that this "wind gusts of XX m/s" meant "your car can suddenly fly for a short period of time".

I never considered this before, that does make a lot of sense. Do you have a suggestion on what they could do differently?
