And after some backreading, I have returned.

I have friends that do that, but on some that are pirate, if not all, steam rejects them if I try to get DLC. Plus, for some reason I feel not comfortable with pirate. Kina like some government agency will come knock on my door or something lol, but yes, it is option. Not just this, but for $10 to $20 games value, if I know they are good I am fine to buy them. Although, like you say, some are trash and if free on pirate TV then it would be no loss. You are rite.

Well, steam and pirated games are not exactly compatible, regarding problems with law it really depends on how much your goverment invest in applying them but I guess is a reasonable fear.

I hope to see their return, the Sleaze sect needs some competition to prove our dominance

Legit scary that some people just play one single game all their life and find it okay. There will be the moment when this game ends. When that time comes there will be nothing but emptiness.
The only way to beat this emptiness is to play this game more.

That's why the only multiplayer I have and would ever try is local host. Besides, most of the normie games I play - developer studios (and even publishers) no longer exist, some for more than 15 years already.

Good money and an average life in a good city is enough. Too much of one and not enough of the other makes life miserable. If you have a lot of money but no place to spend it, life is shit. There are many places to visit, many restaurants to spend money, many activities to socialize, but if you have no money, life is shit. But if the opportunities to spend your money are very good and the money you earn is very good, then the dream is perfect.

Honestly, what I find myself lacking the most is time. In theory I have some money to spend here and there (once or twice a month) but there is barely any time to do so.

If you find it too dark for you, you can try The Guardian. Both games are developed by Blackheart games - PA is still ongoing (do not fret, they do not abandon their games) but The Guardian is finished. Well, there is a aftermath in development but standalone version is done. You can find links in my signature, as I am quite a fan.
