I'm looking for a new game right now and I have several games I'm interested in but I'm just curious what games any of you played that surprised you with its story, art, or anything else that you didn't expect to be so good.

Friends in Need is a game I recently stumbled across which surprised me with how many ways a scene can play out. Most characters have multiple routes and each sex scene has a good amount of variation. I am a bit worried about how well the dev can keep so many alternative choices feel impactful long-term, but for now I like it a lot.

No problem. Just a warning, the main character can make some pretty dark choices, which might not be everyone's cup of tea. But you can also just stick to the "nice guy" option and the content even gets kind of wholesome then.

Mist, it’s a rare gem on the games with 3d animations, beautiful and fluid animations, one of my favorite games.

For me the best one is Mist, it has a good story, good animation and it is ending, although I feel like there could have been more, it ended very well.

I loved that there is a bunch of stuff to do in Degrees of Lewdity. Easily one of my favorites. One of my biggest gripes with it is that it's pretty much just submissive simulator. Would love a game like it but with more extensive options to be the "aggressor" so to speak.

The Falling Reloaded, Summer's Gone, Leap of Faith, and How I Became the Bodyguard of the Saintess are all story rich. Unfortunately the former 2 seem to be abandoned, but are still a good read where they are at. Leap of Faith is completed.

Eternum, not exactly an unpopular opinion there, but it was one of the earlier AVN's I played and I had no idea they could be that in-depth and enjoyable outside of just wanting to fap to 3D characters.

I think that would be Snow Daze for me. I really wish there was more to it. Rather it be like expansions, or just more small installations of content that mixes with the older parts. Found it so hot
