Without revealing too much, it is a co-op platformer.
It's not a massive game, only having been worked on for a few weeks, but it has heart, and the game objects we created allows us to create a whole host of crazy levels.

It gets very chaotic quickly, and your team mate is also you biggest liability for progress - which we find to be a hilarious way to play cooperatively.

I find Godot is very user friendly, and they're about to release a new update that makes it more beginner friendly.
As long as you can figure out how to use signals so you can create more complex interactions between objects, you suddenly have so much freedom.
From there on my advice is to pick a well-established game genre and copy that until you feel comfortable.

The most complicated part of learning making games is finding the time to make them.
