Is it even worth it at this point? I'm seriously considering changing to Linux Mint or another distro when Win 10 loses support.

As always: It depends. Some games or other software might not run on Linux. I use my Windows machine less and less, because almost everything I'm interested in at the moment runs fine on my (Linux-) couch PC.

I don't know about every court in the world... I'm sure there are countries where they'd just get a bullet. In the case of European courts, some rapists are let go citing intelligence (and cultural) reasons. Pretty much the whole "let's not punish or rehabilitate him, he didn't know any better". As far as I've seen, outside of Europe, low intelligence can be a mitigating factor otherwise, but is usually combined with a different form of punishment or treatment.

AS far as the EU goes not knowing you're breaking the law is a mitigating factor. It won't let you of the hook but your sentence will be lesser

It all depends on the individual judge and how often they themselves get their rape on. Can't prosecute without precedent.

What do you mean you can't prosecute without precedent? that's what penal laws/codes are for right? around here you can't prosecute for acts that are not stated in the penal code as criminal acts (makes you wonder if there are still some criminal loopholes)

Around here precedent is not the defining point of criminality. for financial crimes using newer methods you'll get judged using the penalties defined for older equivalent acts (think mail fraud to telephone fraud).
For things like murder or rape "i didn't know" won't fly in court but "I'm unable to know" definitely can
In this set of courts not knowing that posting nudes goes against the rules could result in lesser punishment. Then again you would need to provide some sort of argument/proof of your lack of knowledge.

Honestly, I am not looking forward for any of the upcoming games. Last one I anticipated was (at least for me) a hardcore disappointment.
