had a few PBR's as a kid and even Schlitz Malt but the tab was different back then...pull tab with ring that peeled off

They started phasing out pull tabs in 1975 and the last were made in 1983. People with metal detectors are still cursing those while they search for treasure. the only thing they are good for is an indicator that the area has not been hunted much because if it was they would have been removed. Unfortunately aluminum and gold register almost the same on most metal detectors.
