Why do Scots wear Kilts?
A sheep can hear a zipper a mile away.
So that's what the Androids have been dreaming of!

Cute as the dickens -- and they taste good too -- plus they are not soul stealing vampires like human gingers who are disgusting, inhuman, unable to survive in sunlight and have no souls. BUT are eminently fuckable.I can neither quote nor reply anymore. But on the Topic of red Pandas

Now! Onwards to the other!![]()
They were still plastic (but heavier) when I was a little kid. Also, was a pain in the ass not being able to go more than a few feet away.Ever held onto the end of the wires from those dial phones? They are mini-generators, shocks the hell out of you trying to dial a number (cant remember if 9 or 0 was the worst, the hole furthest from that end-stop).
Also, an amazing weapon if needed, not like today's plastic nonsense. Yeet an intruder with that phone and they are done for.
Pretty sure they were phased out quite quickly. Props to the ppl of the time though, went pretty fast from telegram (the OG version of it by tapping a lever) to manual exchanges (someone plugging your line to another line by having to ask) to those dial phones, to digital. Now tik-tok yay![]()
Question -- what about linking to a You Tube thing that contains AI?Gotcha. Then it's fine. Long as it's not AI and all that. Cute pic.
I mean, plastic is relative. I think this stuff was kinda like plastic but almost ceramic.. Bakelite comes to mind. Thick, heavy and strong as hell. Also yes, short cords, one phone call at a time (even with multiple phones in the house), and if you had the guts to connect to internet (dialup), nobody can touch the phone or call you while connected or that 512x512 jpeg you where waiting 2 hours for got ruined. Different times lolThey were still plastic (but heavier) when I was a little kid. Also, was a pain in the ass not being able to go more than a few feet away.
The only way Conzi could win is if he had all the judges IN himCongratulations @conzibald! I knew you had it in you!

when internet 1st became available even someone trying to call your house would knock you offline...then they put option to block incoming calls while online. Or maybe it was that damn call waiting feature on the phone, can't remember...lolI mean, plastic is relative. I think this stuff was kinda like plastic but almost ceramic.. Bakelite comes to mind. You can still get throwback dial phones -- They change the old dial sounds to digital so they are compatible but the dial still functions as it should - I had one for a while but the cuteness factor eventually gave way to the annoying factor. How about back in the day when you actually had to DIAL a phone? I hadn't since about 1983 - one time in the late 80s or early 90s someone wanted me to call in pizza delivery. They had a dial (rather than push button) phone. I no longer could do it - my finger got caught before I could pull it out. I can't imagine anyone still has (hooked up) that sort of phone. Especially since until some time in the 80s you couldn't actually OWN a phone - you had to rent from the phone company.
