I've never heard Big John (from the guy who makes frozen breakfasts) b4 but Sixteen Tons is still amazing.

Actually This was long before he started making sausage. There is a companion song to it called the Cajun Queen about his love interest saving him that Jimmy dean released a year later (1962), they were really big into story telling in those days. There is a third song in the trilogy called "Little Bitty Big John" (which kinda sucks in my opinion beating a dead horse)

As I get ready to turn in for the night I leave you all with this. I used to work with a guy that was the epitome of a "Redneck" He hated my music, and of course I made it worse by playing things like Viking Death Metal which infuriated him. So one day I put a country song on -- by one of his favorite artists - Willie Nelson. He was so happy and so overjoyed - thinking i had finally come around to the "right" way of seeing things and with Willie to boot! I interrupted his joy and asked "Are you listening to the words? " Giggle -- he did not speak to me for two weeks. Goodnight all. Dedicated to many of my more "fluid" friends here.
