Note that if you collect interest 30 times without withdrawing, your starting capital gets multiplied by well over 200. And although it looks as if it's always rounded down, the amount in the bank is actually a floating point number. So it works as expected even if you start with a single LC. (Then it just takes several days until you see the first indication of growth.) Therefore, if you put just 1 LC in the bank and collect interest at the same time every day, it takes only 2 months to get 200 x 200 = 40,000, the price of Prestige 4. If you start with 200 LC it just takes a month, and if you also add a few LC from posts on most days, it's even faster.

I'm not sure how you are mathing though.. you get 2% interest per day, at most..
even if you start with 200; and collect interest 60 days, you'll end up with just 656 coins..? (200×1.02^60)

The compounding interest rates get interesting once you have a HIGH starting number; but if you start low - it barely produces anything

thanks, now its not confusing or funny. at least i put the little lc i had left in it and have no clue how to find that again without searching or asking. so in the future when i wonder about it, ill have a good laugh again.

no seriously, my brain forgets anything thats not important or entertaining within moments. ive some kind of deficiency thats screwed ep my cog.. whatever, been taking meds for a month now and only feel sleepy all the fucking time and find exercising extremely hard to do. considering i went to dr cause my weight loss had stalled for months, i find this all disconcerting. but i do enjoy a good laugh even at my own expense, so this is like saving for a future laugh. i skipped all the bad bank puns i was thinking of, youre welcome

Oops! Good point. It seems I did the calculation with 1.2 (20%) instead of 1.02 (2%). So that's less than a doubling in a month. I was surprised by how quick this seemed to be, but then exponential growth can be surprisingly fast. Just not that fast at 2% interest.

Math ain't mathing.

With a 2% daily interest rate in a month you multiply your initial amount by 1.8. So if you started at 50 in a month you'll be at 90 juste with daily collect. it is something I guess but that ain't that much either

My brain tells me that interacting in the lurker thread for 30 days and averaging 2k per day gives someone 60k in a month.

I dunno, the spam thread often doesn't inspire me that much and without reactions 750 is 150 messages with at least 3 minutes between each.
It ain't that fast either. if you get reactions I suppose it can be a lot faster, either that or a generous soul giving out some coins but it ain't reliable.

It was easy I used to login and go back reading, give out reactions to posts I liked and replied to posts while I was back reading. Then when logged on the following day I would see a total of the reactions that I had received, it was as easy as that.

No idea how you folk do it.

There's a lot of backreaders too .. you could make like.. 10 reactions over 4-5 hours; and get end up 50 likes etc on them over the next 1 or 2 days.. not that uncommon. Obviously, funnier comments or with a funny gif or joke whatever gets more likes..
