Very true yet these new games look is also unoptimized mess i laughed my ass off when i saw that starfield on a series x was running 30fps 720p natively just like fallout 3 xbox 360 era. Yeah it is better now but dam sad

If they focus on microtransactions and Shark Cards they will simply kill the franchise, of course GTA 6 will still sell a lot but GTA 7 and later simply will not bring people. Look how quickly the Assassin's Creed franchise has collapsed with more than a few bad decisions.

I would agree except for the massive success of gta+ there monthly subscription along with still making hundreds of millions a year on gtao.

Remember they removed hundreds of cards to put them behind the + sub even put health/ammo on the go behind the paywall 0 push back everyone supported them.

I think they should make it so cars you pay for also need real life gas/car maintenance why not make people pay for fake gas with real money just see how much these new "gamers" will take it sense it seems to be alot.

Since we get more bugs and microtransaction hell in games today I think we should expect to get at least a cheap base game.
Extra since microtransactions actually make companies more money than they would get with just double base price.

IF we go by the trend that says it's hard to pay game devs to make games (so says multi-billion dollar companies), thus bump the prices by another extra $10 (same thing that happened when the PS4 (when $60 became the norm) was out and PS5 was out (when $70 became the norm), companies complaining it's too hard to make them), then you will have base price of $70 (since most recently released games are like that), then escalate from there, $99 for the Deluxe Edition, and $120 for the Premium Edition or anything along those lines, which will supposedly give you access to other new DLC. $100 from the get go, highly unlikely no matter how high the hype, unless PS6 comes out at the same time as it. Even a starting $80 for the base game would be a stretch. IMO.

If you look at all the playstion launch windows ps1-ps2-ps3-ps4 then end of this year and or next year will be more playstation 6 news they might toss it out 2026 or 2027.

Right now they are making the chipset for the console sounds like its am5 based unlike am4 for ps4/5 but looking at the catalog of ps5exclusive games yeah....

remember the ps5 has 2019 hardware tossed out 2020 its been out for 5 years already even though there are some that say the pro is better than a 4090 anyhow..

This the brothers are gone the boss of 2k makes more bonus cash on microtransactions and have you played there recent gtao/rdr 2mp content even there content for the las 2k basketball game yikes.

People need to remember that grand theft auto 5 was made a good 17 years ago way different team/time/writers etc just look at the censorship in general even librarians are getting arrested for selling tom sawyer books.
