If only you knew how bad things really are.

Cheap college is still about $5k a year. 4 years minimum for a basic degree (probably longer with how colleges tack on extra requirements and people tend to shift degrees when they're aimless) means at least $20k in tuition. National average for the price of a house is $135k. $20k should be enough money for a down payment, and since you're starting at 18 that 20 year mortgage is paid off before you hit 40. You could even set aside a few thousand for trade school (plumbing, electrician, HVAC repair, etc) to have a fairly high paying job. Or I guess you could get that useless degree and eventually work your way up to becoming a middle manager. Have fun collecting TPS reports.

Except education isn't only about getting a good job. In America, people in power deliberately make education to cost a lot so that they can make money selling it but also so that the large majority of the population stay uneducated and as such easy to manipulate.

The game he hasn't updated since 2023? Yes, I can see how he'd be shocked by that development.

I know it cost 50-80k per term tuition and we had a trimester in my Univesrity so 150k-240k a year without other expense that was in 2014 to 2018 when I went there.
That also depends on course you take. Idiots who take 7 years and keep shifting to different courses are wasteful idiots. A million Philippine peso can get you a cheap lot in certain areas back in those years.
Yeah don't go to college to waste money if it won't help you get more money out of it. Having a degree without knowing what paths it opens is dumb.

Who needs education, it's just a waste of money. I just bought a diploma in the underpass and working successfully. Just don't talk too much.

You've clearly never met an American college student. I'm not sure there's a group of people on the planet easier to manipulate than the average US undergrad. And that includes small children who still believe in Santa and the Tooth Fairy. Sadly, "higher education" does nothing to build critical thinking skills or independent minds. It's rarely more than an expensive DLC for high school where teachers have more freedom to express their political opinions. Those who go in without a solid career goal typically bounce through easy A courses until they leave with some sort of liberal arts degree that taught them nothing.

Quality higher education does a lot to build critical thinking, maybe the problem in america is precisely about quality, in many places, you pay a lot for something shitty.

In France, where i'm from, university is nearly free, the quality is generally quite good, so it contributes a lot in building independant minds.

Also, sociology studies show the less you're educated, the more risk there is to believe in conspiracy theories and to join cult like extreme political movement, so people with less education are often easier to manipulate.

Also funny thing about colleges at least here in the Philippines is that they care about rankings in research output.
So yeah you get idiot professors who are good researchers terrible teachers.
Only go to college if the job requires the degree for license exam like engineering, accounting, teaching and other stuff.

Too bad it no longer works for jobs that need a license since you would end up in jail if caught.

Education is free as long as you've got access to the internet, it's the degree and connections that are expensive, if you don't plan to use those why pay for them?
Assuming you don't live in a place with free/affordable universities at least.

Most of the time just buy a real diploma....I know some universities in the provinces that sell real diplomas with record as if you went there.
Just need to know the right people. Not saying province universities are bad but that is where you find those universities that sell real diplomas and records.

Happy Milfy Monday All! Have a much larger amount of backreading today than normal - could things be returning to the glorious weeks? For my day - after filling my body with coffee have to go out and fix my frozen solid sump pump line -- would be so much better if this had happened in July . After that I intend to spend the day enjoying MILFs in all their wonderful forms
