discussion I'm looking for a game where the MC is not a carpet

Hi, I'm looking for a renpy (prefered) game where the protagonist doesn't let himself be pushed around, stepped on, or even have weakness.

It doesn't matter , it's just that recently I've come across several VNs where the MC lets himself get too much done when, for example, someone talks badly to him, hits him etc. He's like a little worm. Even if his situation is supposed to improve with time. I thought, why not a VN with an MC without this kind of problem?

There is a tags section in the Thread Filter section, we can specify tags here, but if there was an Exclude Tags section for the things you don't want to be in it, you could filter the games by specifying what you don't want to happen by writing humiliation here on the site.

I don't think it fits, in fact I don't want it to happen to the protagonist, but the other way round I want the protagonist to act in this way. So I "need" the tag

Have you tried Taffy Tales? The MC start as a pushover but if I remember right he hits his head and get a second "evil" personality

But this is often done for exposition, as it allows for extra explanation for why everything is happening.

The real problem, is most of these authors are not professionals or properly trained. They are mostly self-trained and winging it.

If you go the main page of this site by clicking on "Forums" on the nav bar - where you see an overview of which forums exist and such - and click Games (or Games+ if you have access) from there, you get to a page similar to the Latest Updates page, which has filtering. Took me a while to randomly stumble upon too, as I always used the navbar at the top.

OK. Unfortunately, I'm more interested in filtering OUT certain tags (sandbox, fantasy, futa, ntr) than filtering any in.

Ah, yeah. f95 has that, but they have fewer tags to select from. For me, a lot of the tags I dislike often appear as optional content within games I really do like, so I don't make use of those very often if I'm over there.
