When I was a youngun, I tried being a Blackhawks fan just because the mascot was similar to Washington..but I also wanted to be a Bruins fan because I like the Red Sox.

I ended up a Carolina fan because no reason

Ah, I've gotten used to calling them the Guardians now. But I hear ya.. I still think they're that as well.

Man, that movie is fucking gold..

The movies are gold. Now I'm depressed, haven't seen a good sports movie in a bit. Know what I'm doing this weekend.

I was born there.. and lived there the first 11 years of my life. Went to countless games.. so, I will always be a Chicago fan through and through.

I will always suggest The Replacements as a great comedy sports movie over anything else, although Major League is right there.

I honestly think that deep in the bowels of these corporations they have a room with staff that as their only job is they plan "planned obsolescence" Like the car companies do, trying to force you to believe that you need the newer shinier bestest thing - even though you don't. I still get email from Newegg and I have not bought anything from them in 7 years.

No, it's not a lot, but the south doesn't usually get weather like that.

That's interesting. I wish I could live in Texas for a while, feel the differences. We literally have perpetual darkness, perpetual snow, and 95% of the people are 24/7 drunks.

It's not worth it, Texas sucks. You have to drive everywhere, they get ice rather than snow, and I guarantee you most of them aren't drunk. There are plenty of dry cities and counties in the state; they'll just run you off the road for fun, rather than alcoholic influences.

I snuck on for a moment before I myself call it quits for the day. I'll see you goofs in the morning; I plan to get my mem+ then if nothing else and do some browsing

I'll gripe about the Warscape engine, much prefer the older Total Wars but I'm in the minority.
