Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on how 'accurate' or close a parody character looks to the original animation style affects your enjoyment of a game.
I find that if the drawing style is too different from the original it takes me out of it a bit, especially if it's 2d to 2d. Like, if they've drawn Rick and Morty characters in an Anime style,.
3D to 2D I'm a bit more forgiving to - for example a hand drawn Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn. But I'd still prefer it to be 3D if the original is in 3D.
