Sorry to tell you but living in the northern sphere of Scandinavia GUARANTES you to have so much snow you have to ¨eny-meeny-miny-moe¨ what pile of white is your car at least twice a week minimum so i'm in the same boat.

And we're preparing for our three or four days of winter here in SE Texas - might even drop below freezing tonight!

I was in the midst of ordering food for the week - kinda put off now... though I have a craving for some wine.

If I had thought it through a little more, I might have had @Evil Surgeon doing the honors - he'd be down for that.

We won't have any. I learned to drive in North Texas where we had at least one annual ice storm, lived in the Midwest for a few years, then there were all the years driving the passenger van up and down an icy mountain road for our annual ski trip, so I know how to drive on it. However, even when I was in the Midwest, there were folks there that were just menaces.

Since we don't get it on a regular basis, we simply don't stockpile things like sand/salt/icemelt down this close to the coast and I'd be surprised if there was a single snow plow south of the Panhandle area. I know there are a few spreader trucks in the Houston area for those times, every few years, when we do get ice/snow, to clear some of the major overpasses and bridges, but not that many.
