We hate AI right now but it's highly likely that in the next few years AI will reach a point where it can offer a real alternative to things like Daz3D. the things we hate about AI art, like everything having a specific "look", the limited ways it can be cleanly implemented into games etc. will stop being issues and we'll fight all the more vigorously about if AI should be allowed or not

I get some of the hate, but say a single game dev uses AI and people are angry about that is what I can't understand, sorry some people can't afford voice actors or pay an artist, sure we'd like that but can't stand the hate. AAA studios have no excuse though.
