It has indeed been fairly quiet today, a lot of the usual faces haven't turned up (Sarya, Mime, etc). Could be the recent chaos, could be the end of the holidays.

Personally I've been half conscious most of the day and didn't have any interest in doing a themed image dump.

It's good to see you. Don't know where things are going to end up. But I want to say thank you for all your hard work and dedication to all the image threads. You made it fun with the themes and everything. So once again Thank you

what is the go with LC? I am hearing from people that everything from last 2 or so days was nuked? or removed or roll back? I know about the art in P4 but were accounts from new members deleted and all this? It is pretty confusing really. I hope LC manage to sort out something in P4 to bring it back or recreate it nice again. Its all confusing and sounds bit sad.

On plus side, the New year is completely over thank goodness and here it is the 2.1.25, and I cleaned my house to welcome a fresh start to new year

The site experienced a time warp, P4 got deleted, then restored and mods are going through deleting too realistic. We'll see what happens.
Time to embrace the New Years and keep the New Years Pledge for 3 weeks before people break them.

Each and every one of you who contributed were great, yourselves. Mime helped lead with everything but while I'm working in there, I can see all the efforts y'all made. Hard not to. I'm just sorry we have to go this route.

Unfortunately, yes. Everything on Monday and part of Sunday were completely deleted, including members who joined in between those time. This happened because P4 were completely deleted. Then once a change of mind, reset the site to bring it back. This is partly my fault.

honestly, I do get about the P4 deletion and reset. Like Kav said, he does not want the realism underage. This I totally get, but everything nuked and roll back is confusing, and just seems it is bit of mess. It is shame that P4 was not make 18+ or whatever, in the beginning, to save all this confusion and save some members from leave because e of frustration. Honestly, my opinion, having an art area is important because yes, games are cool but there is not much of them, so, the art was fun. I don't know if there will be allowed anything under 18+ on there and you know already my view, so, what exactly will happen? I hear too much conflicting stories and it hurts my brain because I feel LC is a place I want to stay but without art i get mix feelings because I dont always talk on threads, so, what else will there be? The deletion also made it bit stranger, and i do hope you guys in admin can sort the rules out so it is clear and all this. I do like pictures area, so, i will look forward to something good in future.

other people have already explained it but to add to that, my account wasn't new but I had started making comments right before the rollback and everything I commented except my first comment was deleted and so was my profile picture, which I had uploaded after my first comment. so I think the site was basically just reverted to the state it was before

If anyone had made a new account during that time it probably *was* deleted, or unmade I guess.

While we really wanted to keep the freedom, there has been reports of people getting arrested over real-looking AI Lolis in America, where some of us reside. I do not blame some of the members leaving. It is well within their rights.

Though I missed Festivus, I'd still like to share my grievances:

• Steam
• RenPy Upgrades
• Revamps
• Shit that happens IRL that takes out Devs and Modders

Between changes made so Devs can go on Steam, moving to upgraded RenPy platforms, and the other two, about half the VNs I currently am following have to be replayed entirely from the beginning, or I'm now left hanging on a few favorites that now seem abandoned. The Steam thing is particularly pernicious because it cannot only force a replay, but it can cause the VN to lose some of those things that made it unique or interesting instead of being the vanilla shit that Steam forces on Devs.

I don't know about you folks, but I have limited time to engage in this past time and going over old ground annoys the hell out of me. Sure, I don't mind rereading some of my favorite books, or rewatching favorite movies, but those are things I choose to do, not things forced upon me. So that leaves me with the choice: abandon a once-loved VN or replay the damn thing grudgingly from the beginning, slowly starting to hate it.
