Why aren't there any or more VN games about Polygamy?

Does it even have a tag? Besides, harem, I mean.

If its possible to sexualize "my little pony," put male members on women, urinate on another person as a sex act, and use them as the base of a game/VN, then why isn't the very alpha male act of courting, marrying, and managing/protecting multiple wives more popular in these type of games?

Do you think it is because marriage is not very erotic?

And/or is polygamy stigmatized due to religion and so it's not considered a fetish?

So, now we are aroused by the idea of a harem-- having sex with a group of committed but unmarried women--and find it erotic, yet as soon as we add the idea of marriage to them it stops being porn?

I think there are some interesting stories that could be told in a VN/game, but maybe I am too weird even for a site like this! Ha!

Devs are bad at writing sex scenes. They are worse at writing 1-to-1 relationships. You think they can handle polyamory?! And then they have to code for it?!

But seriously, almost all harem games either imply or show you marrying everyone in your harem. It just comes at the end of the game like pregnancy. Would be a nice change to see both those fetishes occur mid story though

While that goes for perfect triangle, b-c is a bonus. For example, a bi girl, a lesbian and a hetero guy, the bi girl has both, the lesbian has only the girl and dont cares about the guy and the guy dont has a chance with the lesbian, at best they let him peep.
And for every follwing line its the same, not everyone has to be with everyone for it to work, for example, 6 people could be just 5 couples and the rest just dont hates each other and isnt jealous or is just in for the extra sex.

I think this is more a product of the fact that marriage is seen as kind of the end goal of the relationship. Why have more game if the MC already has the harem pregnant and wedded? Not only that but marriage is not necessary to write conflict in between partners so... why bother?

The more I read both comments about NTR and threads about swinging, polyamory and so on, the more I realise that 95% don't understand anything at all about the terms or the nature of these relationships.

For some reason NTR commenters have reduced it to the presence of a second MC in the story. In general, without distinguishing what role the second MC plays or what kind of relationship between the characters. Although the wife's cheating with another girl is just as NTR.

Polygamy is a type of relationship that involves marriage to more than one person (polygyny/polyandry/group marriage).
The NTR tag is not possible at all in polygamy - as there is no adultery. For all participants consider themselves as one family.

Harem is one of the three varieties of polygamy - polygyny (one husband - several wives).

But the lack of a separate tag for polyandry and group marriage is very frustrating

Swinging also does not fit into this relationship in any way - as swingers do not regard themselves as a family. By the way, application of the NTR tag to Swing relationships is also impossible.

This can be greatly simplified with a scene that allocates which characters to show at the wedding using a table. instead of writing a specific scene for each iteration.

Polygamy involves being "officially" married to multiple women.
I don't see the point in VN games.
Otherwise, they're just harems.
