Everytime I access lewdcorner, my browser tries to open another tab with an URL that my VPN client classifies as a threat.
Why is that?

Most ad sites have some undesirable traits, and any ad/site that tries to open itself in a new tab is generally considered exceedingly undesirable. Mine blocks them, too.

The type of ad matters. That's what's got the people I've seen being vocal about it, vocal.

There are ads and then there's the popup/redirect/etcetc bs that plagues some ad providers, some of which include malware or other threats.

Well when the options are no Lewdcorner site of annoying ads which some may not be fully vetted, it can be hard to decide, especially when under time constraints for money. It can be hard to fault decisions at times.

Agree. The site needs to keep going and Kav needs to do what he needs to do. Once he's out of debt for this place and things get to a more comfortable position, he might be able to edit the ad providers to get rid of the more potentially problematic ones.

I find nothing wrong with an ad here or there. It could be much worse, with ads hooked to every mouse click and every new page. Nothing is as bad as a website that is innavigable due to the torment of camsites, free browser games, and hot singles in my area.
But exactly as Tosser said, most all ads have sketchy back-ends. Be less worried about what your VPN does catch, and more worried about maintaining good cyber security practices.

I use both uBlock Origin and AdBlocker Ultimate and have never encountered this problem.

I use AdblockPlus and uBlock Origin, so I don't get ads. And I also use sandboxie on Lewd and cuck95, and
most other websites.

Look guys, none of us like ads, not even the staff or Kav, he is strongly against ads, but we don't have many options and a lot of people told us that they wouldn't be against having ads, so that's what we're trying. I apologize for the inconvenience, we all know how annoying ads are, but again, we don't have many options (and please, stop saying "just get a cheaper host" because if you're here for more than six months you know exactly why we need a good host)

As a prestige member I can verify when I was on windows 8.1 google chrome [with no ad block]
