Tonight got me thinking about the 'glory days', and it made me wonder what everyone considers the 'glory days'.
For me, I remember playing Halo 3 at my mates house nearly every night of the week until my parents finally upgraded our internet so I could play online. The memories I have coming home from school, and talking shit as a 12 year old through the microphone to full grown adults, all whilst thinking I was the toughest and baddest kid to ever walk the earth. From the campaign, to the Multiplayer, to the custom games, to making our own shitty Machinimas with a Handheld Camera (capture cards were hard to get). For me, the Halo 3, MW2, Black Ops and Halo Reach and Far Cry 2 days were peak gaming. Thats when life was simplest, that's when games came out complete.
