by classic detective, i mean the old school detective story who put fair amount of threads, that the Player with reasonable thinking can come to the same conclude with the "detective" of the story/game.

something like L.A. Noire

that are some few of them close enough of this type on this sector:
Deliverance, sadly it is a more supernatural type of story;
Secrets of Whispering Pines and the others, good start but later on abandoned the investigation part of the games due to viewership;

is that other game with old school detective you can identify, that do not just add "(she is obvious lying)" to an opinion and call it a day, but actually put test to you analysis

It's been years since I've played them, so I don't remember much, but I think that in both Depraved Awakening and Darkness Falls you play as detectives, however there's no actual detective work from the player involved, it just the theme of the games.
