Do you genuinely like mini games/combat in games?

There is/was an adult game called eternal showdown, which was pretty much just combat and no real story to it. I played it a long time ago, and I genuinely liked it enough that I still remember it for some reason.

No.

Minigames are filler content, fill your voids with more porn.

I like mini games when they are 100% optional and aren’t required for story content.

Give me minigames that are actually fun and not repeated ad nauseam then yes, I enjoy them

Not really, there are some that are okayish like card, deckbuilding, or rpg were combat have sexual acts as action but almost aways better without. But the game still has to have some gameplay, like choices, upping stats, sandbox things like that and not some kinetic bullshit, it's still supposed to be a game not a fucking book.

I don't like minigames. I hate combat in a porn VN and simply avoid those kind of VNs. Minigames that are integrated in the plot could make a sense but I usually find them annoying after the first run. I cannot stand minigames based on precise mouse movements because my right hand is often occupied with something else ;)
The only minigames I initially tolerated was inside Being a DIK (mansion repair), but after a few runs it become a burden and now I simply cheat it. The various class tests in BAD are horrible and I really hate them, with all the other minigames that plague that VN. The new ones of episode 10 are absolute crap.
If I want a normal game that needs rapid clicks or much thinking, I have better options than porn games, and I'm going to use both hands. When I play a VN I just want to get excited by a good story and good images. It's like reading an erotic book + images (+ choices or various paths, but I also do't mind a good kinetic novel). I don't want anything else. I mean, I don't even look for crappy animations (I think they are a waste of dev time).

Strange question inferring that "combat" is something people wouldn't enjoy, as if you yourself only play visual novels that require to press enter and read.
Yes people like different mechanics that is the core of what gaming is, so obviously if a game has mini-games and combat, assuming those are well developed, people will love it since it is a game before anything.

The free roams in BaDIK had to be designed by a sadist. By later, couldn't even get past with a walkthrough

If it is done well and actually adds to the game i'm alright with it but mostly just feels shoehorned in

They are great, if there's a sex scene for losing and rewards for winning

There are practically no games where minigames/combat is done well enough to add anything. The platforms, like renpy, are completely ill-suited for anything but terrible reaction tests or grindfests. In order for gameplay to make sense, the game would have to be built gameplay first and erotic content second....which we do have currently...that is the point of the mainstream gacha/animewaifu/p2w mmo experiences offered and the few erotic-themed games offered on steam to a lesser extent.

some are fun I really like card based combat.

Optional mini are sometimes fun, but about 99% of them are just lame, filler content. Would love to see more effort put into actual mini games that represent the game in a positive and fun way.

No. I do not like any interactive "game" elements in my Visual Novels

Sometimes if it is interesting enough

If they're well thought out, then they can actually be fun. Not a fan of filler for the sake of filler. Personal study is focused on puzzles, and from what the dev has done so far there are some neat ideas. They can be amusing ways to get to the fun stuff. By fun stuff I mean porn.

Depends on how they are implemented. Most minigames are just annoying fillers. Combat, however, can be very intense and can be the main appeal of a game. And sometimes even 'combat' mechanics that look like a minigame turn out to be fun. For example in 'Love of Magic', I really like the poker-card-game combat.

Love of magic was a great balance of story lore strategy. But god help you if your gems were not set up right for some of the bigger fights in the later episodes. The mixing and matching with different followers to manipulate the game was also great. I also want to marry Bella.

Absolutely not. I'm not playing these games to trying and work my way through your version of combat or puzzles that, more often than not, are glitchy as hell. If a game is REALLY good, i'll take one or two mini-games on the chin. But any more than that, or if the game in general is mediocre, and I'll delete it and move on to another game.
