I love warcraft lore, and I hate WoW
I can never get into it. I loved Everquest and Everquest 2, but anytime I tried WoW I just hated it. Tbh I can't do any MMORPG anymore because your hand gets held so much, and I hate how terrible the players are now.

I'm right there with you about the lore, love it, and has always, or at least since Warcraft 3, I was probably too young and uncivilized to remember much when playing Warcraft 2.

Back then if I remember Members Plus was only 350, and you could get it in a few minutes. In fact the very first thread got nuked because someone wrote a script to auto like EVERY post in the thread causing an insane massive slowdown of the site. If you ever look at the 2nd thread which is called OG thread BUT IS ACTUALLY THE 2ND THREAD you'll see how much random nonsense was posted, and people auto liking everything. Back then you got points for visiting the site daily, for liking posts, for getting likes.

Yeah bck then there weren't many of those "Stupid lurkers" that just wanted to sabotage this here forum. Back then AI was fun, competitions all over, people sharing how they use AI to make crazy shiet. It was a fun time before.

Now all of us are just trying our ass to grind that sweet sweet P4 (probably just me but idk) just to get to taste it back.

Nah, we use the psychology definition of anti-social and do stuff not commonly accepted in the public square, not to be confused with 'asocial' which is colloquially referred to as 'anti-social' where someone doesn't engage in social activity at all.

We are very social, just not in a way that wouldn't get us fined and/or arrested in public.
See @conzibald for examples of anti-social behaviour.

As for lurkers? There are plenty who just hang back and react but don't actually post. We tolerate those users here too.
