Some people take that to do human resources job and such. There is also an increasing number of job in advising and evaluating people on all kinds on subjects. I just got into it because it found it interesting. Learning things is good on his own. It's not always to get a job (but i know i say it because i was privileged enough to access university without having to care to much about money).

It's called participant observation, there is scientific basis to it, but i admit doing it here is pleasurable.
