Here some activists started using neutral gendered pronous, like elu instead of ele/ela.
I find it ugly and don't really use it, but I understand why they do.
However I also don't like people using the argument that it shouldn't be used because "that word didn't exist", since all words didn't exist until they did. Language are in constant change...
Nowadays my english is just like this. I can now understand heard english for the most part, but I'm pretty incapable of formulating sentences on the fly, and then pronnouncing it right.
I think I had only one spoken conversation in english in my life. It was a support phone call. For my surprise the person on the other end (which I think were really a native speaker, not indian or something) understood me!
