  • Donation Rewards & Vault Credit System Update
A new important update has been posted covering the Donation Rewards bug, the reset of incorrect Donation and Platinum credits, the upcoming reclaim system for previous tracked donations, and the new Vault freeze/maintenance behavior. The goal is to remove bug-generated credits, protect real donation history, and rebuild the system in a cleaner and safer way going forward. - Jack Of Blades

What ad blockers do you guys use when browsing sites such as hitomi.la and akuma.moe? These sites have some strong pop-up ads and I want some suggestions.

Depends on the browser. Adblock unlimited, adblocker ultimate, ublock, r.i.p., etc.
Noscript is also not wrong on hitomi.la

I use Brave Browser that block ads and other things automatically. For some sites, like Sankaku Channel, I also use custom JS scripts to remove unwanted elements from the pages.

All you need is

I use ublock, never had to manage it much after I got it a year or so ago.

Let's start with the fact that a number of browsers have good built-in ad blockers (Brave, Epic Privacy, Opera). As for others - uBlock Origin is beyond competition.

Don't forget network solutions like pi-hole or diversion.

With the news I hear about the new Chromium update.
Ublock Origin on Firefox seems to be the best.
It's even got scripts/filters I'm pretty sure you can find in places like github.

any browser will be able to deal with popup ads these days. mayne you'll need to go into the browser settings but you dont need any bullshit addons that may read your personal info.

Adblock Plus can remove unwanted elements from the pages but for some browser you need to disable the blocker come with the browser for it to work i think.

I personally use one called AdGuard AdBlocker. He was the best a year ago. Now it needs an update, but normally it blocked everything. I also usually use a router (netduma) with a blocker for my Android devices.

i have been using uBlock Origin for years. never had to care about adds.

I got the following when trying to visit akuma.moe

Ublock Origin. Figure out your block lists and you might find specific additional ones for the country you're in, maintained by the community. Best QoL.

btw Adblock Plus can remove unwanted elements from the pages but if your issue is that the website redirected you to another web site or pop another new browser window you can copy the new website address and add it to your AntiVirus website block list just make sure you not blocking the website you are visiting

ghostery, ublock, adblock, those are probably the most popular addons. but if you want a browser that does it by default, try one of these three. opera gx, brave, or libre wolf. (i hear mullvad also blocks ads. cant say for sure though. have yet to try it.)
