I grew up in the 80's watching anime like Robotech and Macross. Later on moved to ecchi and harem shows, and
yeah they do influence your tastes. Sadly it's been a few years now since I watched any as my interest has waned.

I am noob to anime but the last anime i watched was Claymore.It's a pity that maybe there will be not any second season.Also i have seen death note.Berserk maybe is my next in the list.

DB/Z/Super (and GT is flawed but it has its moments. Also Dan Dan is a great song).
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, Code Geass, Yu-Yu-Hakusho, JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, Gundam (Mobile Suit/Wing/G/Iron-Blooded Orphans), Bleach, My Hero Academia, Mob Psycho 100, Jin-Roh

But when it comes to Manga there is only one clear winner for me: Berserk

Psycho-pass Interesting anime with good story and some more adult themes (non-sexual)

My favorite is probably Ghost in the shell, Stand alone complex. Followed by Trigun and Last Exile.

I liked Soul Eater, the spin off in the same universe Fireforce i found the first season to be good. Wasn't feeling the second season i guess it was okay. Maybe a little dark for my tastes.

overlord is up in my top ten i just wish it went a little darker i mean i love it as it is i just wish there was a bit more bite to it

If I'm going to go by favorite of all time. G Gundam, no question. Very close between Dragon Ball Z, G Gundam and Sailor Moon.
