Watched it before watching the anime, which I would only watch more than a decade later.

Man, I love, love, love me some Slayers, I've still got all the series on DvD....don't like the OVAs quite as much, Naga can get grating.

Maybe it's because I originally watched the OVA dubbed and the way the VA played her just set my teeth on edge. I'm not saying they're bad at all, I just prefer the series.

Unfortunately not, here in Brazil was not common to rent anime. Maybe just São Paulo, because of the Japanese population.
