what's the general theme of this forum?

If the dev themselves want to limit who can update their game they can and I believe no one is supposed to leak it here until it has been leaked for a few days in another site.

I'll give you a quick 'TLDR', feel free to ask more if you want. We give devs 14 days before leaking a game that it wasn't leaked elsewhere, if the leaker come to us or post the leak in the game thread, we will delete the comment but keep everything ready, after the 14 days (since the dev released the update) we will update the game thread. If the game can be found in any other site, we update, does not matter what the dev say or wants. The option "Allow others to update = No" is only a signal that some devs update their own threads, but we will update the threads if we have the update and our rules allow the thread to be updated (14 days or leaked elsewhere)

Usually I give a 'funny' reply, but I know your question is genuine. For now we're still discussing P5 perks, that's why the price is that crazy, we want to give people perks without 'stealing' from other ranks but we need some time to think and talk. After the final decision, I'll try to explain why the new rank is needed.

If the forums behind prestige are more for like talking between peers and well known users I won't really fit haha

yeah, M+ is enough if you only care about games, the Prestige areas DO NOT HAVE GAMES AND WE DON'T PLAN TO POST GAMES THERE

Thanks for the answer, it definitely gives me an insight as to what to do and expect. Certainly then I guess I'll be active for a while then go dormant haha. Maybe I'll do something useful as I see there's no tutorial about an easy way to mingle with android saves and I happen to have one that is also safe for the not tech savvy and allows to install mods too in almost any renpy game and some other engines too

Oh yeah, recent android builds are tighter than a nun's asshole when it comes to checking the data folders... Oh how I miss the era of Ipod touch, jailbreaking and the freedom to just do whatever the fuck you wanted with your device... Nowadays with banking and goverment apps you can't root your phone and I'm not exactly about to get a second device just to root it. I appreciate devs that are starting to use other folders to store the saves...
