This looks so fucking good and I just realized how hungry I amI may not choose pineapple as my go-to pizza topping, but its sweet and juicy flavor can be surprisingly complementary. I just don't get the irrational hatred toward this little fruit on a pizza. If anything, I'd expect anchovies or tuna to get that kind of grilling.

im italian and i think its fine. pizza was originally just a way to get rid of excess ingredients that were going bad anyway, nothing wrong with a little ham and pineapple. i like it best when the pineapple is in small slivers more than big juicy chunks tho. i bet something like sundried pineapple (if that's even a thing) would go hard as fuckIt's a decent pizza unless you're Italian![]()
Hot dogs at all are just don't do it.Pineapple on a pizza is a lot like Ketchup on a hot dog -- just don't do it.You must be registered to see attachments
Chicken definitely doesn't belong on pizza either. After the early 1990s was when you started seeing "weird stuff" on pizza, and I'm all but sure pineapple was the first. Again, there IS a reason Italy and Hawaii are on opposite sides of the planet. And if you ask for pineapple on pizza in Italy, the other patrons will yell at you and insult you (though it would almost certainly be in Italian so you probably wouldn't understand it...)I like the combination of chicken and pineapple on pizza. Although I order it very rarely.
You should try chicken with bbq sauce on pizza, it's amazingChicken definitely doesn't belong on pizza either.
