Star Trek: Into Darkness

Kirk gets irradiated, Bones discovers Khan's blood is magic, radios Uhura with "whatever you do don't let Khan die".

Spock is too enraged and beats Khan to death before anyone can calm him down. Goes back up to the ship and has a heartfelt conversation with the dying Kirk. Include a moment where he holds Kirk's head or touches his face or something, then close on the Enterprise crew getting their "thanks for saving Earth again" rewards while Spock stews in the fact that his failure to control his emotions cost his friends life. And we're all set up for a sequel where we discover that in his emotional turmoil, Spock downloaded Kirk's katra and has to find a way to get it into a new Kirk body.

I mean, if you're gonna lazily copy a much better Star Trek movie, at least have the balls to finish the plagiarism instead of wussing out with yet another cheap death fakeout.

Knives Out: The old writer knew someone was going to try to kill him so he faked his death. The police and coroner were in on it so he hired a private detective anonymously to make the investigation look real. The knife he used to cut his throat was fake, which his family would have noticed if they hadn't become so estranged and selfish. Big reveal shows several family members made an attempt on his life so the obvious red herring can still serve his purpose providing an actual mystery for this murder mystery story. Switching the medicine labels was an actual surprise to the writer so the nurse still gets credit for saving his life by subconsciously recognizing the meds and justifying her being added to his will.

Not a movie but a show.

Breaking Bad should have ended by Walter getting shanked by some random meth head in some alleyway that recognized him, while he was about to deliver the money to his family.
And all the meth head steals is a small bag of meth Walter carries around, letting the money and the dying Walter behind, while the camera zooms out like in the last shot of the show.

Why? Because Walter doesn't deserve to be successful with his overall plan to earn money.

Btw, maybe change the title to "Your take on how Movies should have ended" or somthing similar.

Well, there is the option to change 'Lord of the Rings' so that the Fellowship gets a ride to Mount Doom from the GIANT eagles and destroys the Ring in a couple days.

OH, we could also change the end of 'Highlander' so the Kurgan wins, and the film ends showing him ruling the world and enjoying a MASSIVE harem.

I think that the movie John Wick is very good, both the fights, shooting and survival.

nah, Breaking Bad had a great ending. Your ending would have punished Skyler forcing her to keep his secret while he would appear as a victim to his kids and a pillar of the community. In that scenario they might even name a street or a park after him.

That's the point. Walter's actions destroyed everything what he cared for.
And if he gets a Walter White Memorial Park, it would only deepens the damage he had done. Because everybody would think that he was great, even through he has actually become a monster.
That would be another fitting gut punch.
