So, I was reading the Game Requesting Rules and there are 2 things I didn't understand, but since the thread isn't open for replies, I think making this thread is the only way that I can be answered. So here are my questions:

1. In the Game Requesting Rules it is said that I'm supposed to give "Links to find the game" and the mod mentions VNDB. Also, he gives the following example:

The thing is that as far as I know the VNDB won't show anything if it's a western game/if it's a game that isn't a VN (for example if it's like a sandbox/RPGM etc). And the problem with the example that the mod gave is that if I'm making a request for a game to be upload here in the lewdcorner website, then there's no way that I have a lewdcorner's link to put in the requesting thread. The only option that crossed my mind is if I was able to post the link of another forum/website that already has the game uploaded. But then, I'm not sure if I can do this without getting punished, even though I haven't found an express rule saying that this is forbidden. In my experience with forums, is kind of an implicit rule that you're not supposed to mention other forums. So... can I? Or there's another way?

2. I also want to know WHERE I'm supposed to post the request. Is it really in the "Game Request" forum? It might seem obvious, but I found it strange that, if the "Game Request" is actually the correct location, then there are no open requests right now, and since I don't want to risk getting banned or having any other penalty, I just want to confirm it.

It says you CAN link VNDB, but it isn't MANDATORY. That means it's allowed but isn't enforced. We just need a link to the game. However, the thread will get denied if it requires us to pay money out of our pocket to get this. We do not force anyone to pay for anything related to requests and the site.

You should be able to post this request within the Game Request forum. No where else. However...

We need additional information. Such as who this Developer of the game is, the Game's name, including the version of the game for better organizing. We'll also require a link to the game. With that said... Please ensure the game is not already on this site.

You will need to create a new thread in order to open a request. This isn't something to look for in another thread but your own.

Punishment would only happen if caught abusing the system due to coin grinding which is highly discouraged here. You should be alright with making requests, just don't spam it.

As for the part about no open requests right now... That's because it's either been moved to Completed or Rejected Requests. Moderators and Uploaders tends to stay on top of these things if at all possible.

Yeah, I get that the VNDB link is not mandatory. But the requirement of giving a link to find the game seems to be.

We just need a link to the game
Sure. But like, the mod on that thread gave 2 examples, which are VNDB and a link of the game from lewdcorner. In the first one is difficult to find a western game and the last one is impractical (since it's not possible to link to a lewdcorner page of the game that i'll be making a request). So which other sources could I use so I could give the link? Could I link to another forum? Free websites in general, that already have the game uploaded there?

You should be able to post this request within the Game Request forum.
I see, thanks!

Would it be considered spam to make a lot of different requests, but all complying with the requesting rules, and each thread requesting a different game that in fact aren't uploaded here in the lewdcorner?

Yeah, I thought it could be the case, just wanted to confirm, thanks

That's just what they are, examples. Generally, any links are allowed as long as it's free. And this should be common sense, but I'll say it, anyway. Just make sure the links are safe and does not contain any virus/malware.

This would be considered farming for coin which generally falls under spamming. Yes. Max requests would be up to 5. Which I'll inform the staff to include this information as we talked about it some time ago, I believe. There are only so much a small group can do, after all.

And make sure to read the numbered rules within that Game Request Rules. Just make sure to not include more than one request in the same thread.

Disregard this a bit. You should be good and alright to go. Just keep it reasonable and fulfilled.

I'm still a little bit rusty on my knowledge due to internet fuckery. Took me a month to get it back. Sorry about that.

Thank you for the answers!

i have a question of my own. I was wondering if there is a game developer that has a lot of games that you would like to request here, would you need to submit a request for every game that developer has or can one request be submitted for the developers entire works?

The limit, last I heard, was up to like... 3 to 5 games. Would have to request more another time. HOWEVER... There IS an exception. If the game in question is actually part of a collection and related to these games. Otherwise, if they have different names and different styles, such as... One's an RPGM game and another is VN. We need to keep things organized and steady. And we're still low on Uploaders. Plus, a lot of coins are given once approved. Why we had to limit the requests.
