So yeah been working on saving up LC coins so I can get access to Members + again. Finally got enough just now and went to buy it...
Guess what? Discount is done and now I'm a long way off again. Was 390 now 750 and sitting at 415.

I honestly feel defeated. I have collected what I have by interacting in the forms with what I feel is actual contributions for the most part with thoughtful responses, avoiding simple answers.
As to the lurkers thread, fuck no, not sure what the hell is going on in there and frankly not gonna waste my time trying to figure it out. It's devolved into what seems inside joke shit posting and frankly that aint for me.
I guess I'm just gonna have to post a bunch of videos in the music section.

I was looking forward to having access for the weekend but that's no longer happening this weekend.
Do they offer a timer somewhere to let you know how long these discounts or special event happen for?
I can better understand the people who say the admins are pushing people to spam. I don't like seeing spam let alone doing so myself. It's just an incomplete system at this time.
One thing that is intended to be good but is broken is the liking of a post. If a post gets liked the poster gets coins which is nice, but at least in the general discussion very few people actually do and tbh I'm one of them too as I'm focused on trying to post without spamming.

I never had Members + but I had access before the debacle that happened. I think it was Games + before and I had access then.

Relax, you don't have to worry so much. It's not a matter of life and death. Keep communicating, keep accumulating LCs, and everything will be fine. Again, this is not a vital issue.

One suggestion I have for those that are saving (and using the bank). Do NOT pull all your coins and buy member+ the moment you have enough. Wait a couple days and build up extra coins in the bank. This will make it easier if you want to buy higher levels later, as the more coins you have in the bank, the more coins you get from interest.

oh yea, the old "sucking paradox". Dont get frustrated, dude. Just keep using the bank once a day, and chat to people. You will get there in less than a week.

I feel that big time. I dont have anything against the coin system or something similar beeing implemented in general, its such a hassle tho to get coins on time with discounts, especially if you are more of a socially inactive user.

Just an update. Thanks to some other members and posting some music videos I personally like I was able to get the difference and bought the membership.

Thanks to those who offered advice and a big thank you to those who helped out.
I did not intend to create this post to be offered coins but just vent my disappointment after a full week of actively trying to earn the coins properly.
I had reached the goal line and when I looked up I saw it was moved a good distance away. I've had to deal with disappointment before and do understand it is a part of life, despite that it still sucks.

I once again want to thank all. This was just to let out some frustration with the situation. To be clear I'm not saying it was unfair / unjust only it sucked due to the combination of factors.
I am also not intend to shit on the coin system. I fully understand why it is there and can agree, I do not have a better method for the goal. I do think there is room to improve upon it but it is difficult to balance.

I need that 390 discount back.

Discounts keep popping up quite frequently so just need to wait a little bit.
Also deposit your LC Coins in the bank and collect the interest daily as 2% on the 500 you have there is 10 coins daily for doing nothing besides logging in and collecting.
If you don't know how to do that click on the Shop arrow > Bank then deposit your coins.
Oh and only collect and deposit at the exact same time. Every action taken resets the 24h timer for interest. So if you collect right now lets say 01:00 the timer will start counting down but in 2h you have gotten 20 coins you want to add and deposit it then you reset the clock and will require another 24h before interest so it would be 03:00 the following day.

The higher levels are MOSTLY cosmetic, BUT you do get the cooldown for likes removed at lvl 1. At lvl 4 you also get access to a few other areas (mostly art stuff).

That sucks. I do understand why it was done and not bashing why, but it still sucks for those who participated before but are now locked out.
I've got access again to members+ but I'm just gonna sit on my LC coins in the bank until I can purchase VIP 1-4 (57,345 LC needed) in one shot then wait about 10 days just to build up a little nest egg. Which at 2% interest would be about 1150 LC per day.

If anyone is wondering your coins will double in 36 collections just from interest. By time you hit 5k in the bank you will be getting 200+ coins a day and it's by far the most cheapest easiest way to make LC coins. At this point it is best to keep on track with collecting coins and so long as you keep on top of collecting every day you should be able to get over 640k within the year after the initial 5k.
