Discord is definitely a lot more like actual interaction. I could never get into it either.
Probably a good thing, considering all the hack and leaks on discord lately.

I've never liked Discord, even way, way back.
I've always found it overly complicated, and with an weird UI.
This one is kinda biased and overly picky but It's annoyed me like how much it looked like it was trying so hard to be "cool" and "gamer", like it was desperate to be the next hot shit. Hahaha

I'm talking about situations like this: person A doesn't care about the conversation, doesn't read anything, just comes and drops a 'good morning' without any context or reply to someone, then person B replies to person A with another 'good morning', without any conversation or context. How am I supposed to respond to that? With another useless post? usually when you're just passing by, you drop a 'good morning' with some replies to quotes from when you were offline or some new topic about your day, IDK, something to keep the conversation going and allowing other people to reply to you too, that's what I miss, I never post (unless staff-related) I always just reply to posts :/

With luck people will start to feel comfortable enough to come back here 'publicly' (for want of a better word).

It was a regular pizza with mashed potatoes, ham and spices on top. The mashed potatoes were actually just scooped on and they didn't spread them out at all. Japan has a lot of interesting takes on food, I've seen corn on pizza there and a long time ago I got a sundae that had corn flakes as a topping with some berries (which was pretty good actually, nice crunch with some ice cream).

my problem with those posts is that they show the signs of our reality, people don't come here to hang out anymore, and the friends we made here are slowly leaving, it's getting harder and harder to just enjoy a good laugh without caring about coins, I never cared about coins, since the M+ was 30 coins and you could earn by people visiting your profile. I just really feel like the community we built here is really great, no kink shame, no random fights, nothing and I'd like to keep it growing

It sucks that things happened the way they did. Its natural that coins incentivise anyone to collect them to get the sort of good old lewdcorner back the way it used to be.
It made me come out of my hole (no not that one conzi) and speak up for the first time (since i usually stood away from interacting in nsfw forums until now).
Hopefully in the future things will calm down again to have ppl be a little more open or at least not so negative about fictional content, or a safe alternative solution arrives without the fear of it being taken down

I do agree with this- they are guilty of hoarding their knowledge, but if you have a generation that's unwilling to learn it even IF they're willing to teach it... Where does the blame fall then?
You see documentaries where civilization/modernization has crept into a lot of these cultures and the younger people just have no interest in their ancestry. I'm more sad for those people losing that part of themselves. Personally...

I personally don't care for traditiona just for the sake of traditions. If they're cool or whatever, nice, but if not, I'm not doing it.
But even so, I'd like that everything gets recorded somewhere. I may not practice it, but there should be somewhere where you can learn the origin and history of thing, how they came to be, why they were done, when they started falling into disuse...
It's a bummer when informations just vanish, regardless of what was it.

There used to be a pizza place near me that had a pizza special which was buffalo sauce, grilled chicken and crushed potato chips. It was actually pretty good. On the other hand I ordered pizza with mashed potato on it in Japan and loved it so maybe I'm just weird.

I already told you guys how brazilians do some monstrosities in kitchens, but some of them pretty good.
Here it's common using mashed potatoes as a topping in hot dogs. Some of the with mashed potatoes AND shoestring fries!
In fact one of my favorite sushis (which obviously ISN'T a sushi, don't matter how loose your sushi definition is) is basically mashed potatoes, cheese and salmon. It's surprisingly good!
