Did the survey, don't know how it might help with your primary question though.
So all the previous votes are obsolete? That´s not very science like...and one that I've actually now added to the survey.

No. Prior votes are not obsolete. But whatever data I gather from the brother/sister questions is probably not very usable, unless I get a ton of additional answers. Either way, I'd need to just use any data from those surveys that were done after the questions were added to try to show anything related to the brother/sister equation. However, that's actually the first piece I'm working on as a starting blog post. So did want to get the question out there. So all the previous votes are obsolete? That´s not very science like...
Please do not do the survey again. It will skew the results. I guess I should have thought more about adding these questions (which is why the survey site discourages it, I suppose).I was wondering the same. Should we do the questioneer again? Won't that give 1+ data point for all my preferences?
Thanks for the comments. As per above, I won't be adding more questions for now. I think I might have learned my lesson....I did the survey... I think it's missing some key info though, like "what is the earliest age at which you remember attraction" and "at what age were you first exposed to hard core porn"
I feel like those influence sexual development much more than the number of brothers/sisters.
But I mean good effort here, I took the time to fill it out so there you go
That is too funny. However, I'm not approaching this issue from that direction. It's not a question of what effect porn has on sexuality: it's asking what effect sexuality has on porn. (Not really sexuality - it's more whether porn preferences might say something about why we have the sexuality we do. I know that's clear as mud, but read my posts (when I finally get them written and posted) and hopefully it will be clearer. (I may look like an idiot, but it'll be clear that I'm an idiot....)They've tried to do a study on the effects of porn on men and their sexuality. Was in Britain I believe.
They had to cancel the study as they couldn't find anyone for the "Never watched porn" control group. Not one.
Only after posting this I saw that the results were up. HahahaDone. I'm also looking forward for the results.
After looking over the first 100 responses to the survey, I am not surprised by the results. A lot of us came from another site that banned certain tags and games. We came looking for a better site and found just that.Only after posting this I saw that the results were up. Hahaha
I favorited this thread to answer ir sometime ago, but ended up forgeting about it.
wtf is alpha vs omega, what a dumb question
The Survey is way to long.... I had to read some questions 3x Times.... There is a lot of nonsense insight
the doc talked with the whole staff before making the survey public (we even did the survey before it went public, yes, I work with sick people, and now I know how much)Am I paranoid?
I worry about being profiled whenever I get asked to fill in personal surveys online.
This is actually the basis of (one of) my main contentions. I think males are going to show a bimodal distribution of kinks rather than a continuous, single bell curve. And I think that's going to be along the lines of alpha vs omega. It may turn out to be a dumb question. I'm hoping it turns out to be an insightful one....wtf is alpha vs omega, what a dumb question
If I'd had more time, it would have been shorter. The Survey is way to long.... I had to read some questions 3x Times.... There is a lot of nonsense insight
I did make every effort to make sure it was clearly anonymous and made sure I was using a reputable survey provider. As Guz notes, the survey doesn't collect any personal information at all (no email, etc.) It apparently doesn't even require a real IP address (though how Guz tested for that, I've no idea). However, you can do the survey through a VPN if you wanted to.Am I paranoid?

Thanks! And this is the right approach for "boring". I also agree that some of these are not clear, including "cheating". If I revise the survey and use it elsewhere, I'll try to clarify those. Cheating and humiliation are the two that seem like they most clearly need clarifying.Done. I would suggest clarifying some of the kinks. Is cheating meant to be others cheating with the mc, or the mc doing the cheating? I guessed the former. Also, some kinks aren't a turn off but I find plain boring, like voyeurism. I selected the neutral response, cause it's not a turn-off, but I try to avoid boring stuff all the same.
probably me, sorry, I'm always multitasking, and I remember spending some minutes talking with the staff about the "money or glory" questionand one person took 59 minutes (afk?)
