For now, mime and apollo have full control over LC and will be handling site decisions going forward.
I’m stepping back from making site changes for now and letting them decide how to move LC forward.

Hello again , Here is great science fiction comedy/drama movie that you guys should check out from 1987. I like to post about these older films that you youngsters probably never heard of. Little alien space ships come to earth and help an older couple try to save their long time restaurant from being closed. (weird huh)

Im good. Some busy days IRL but now i think it will be more calm
I'll try reading a few pages back to find out what's going on...
And adapting my images avoiding being realistic
It's like they always hate when the customer knows more.
I do service work in a different industry and always tell the customer, "I will do what you want me to do first, but you'll have to pay for it even if it doesn't work"
Most of the time, they'll just have me try their idea first and have no problem if it doesn't work. It's not so hard if you're honest.
The one that always kills me is when you try to help someone with IT, automotive, electrical, electronics, plumbing, etc.,. and they tell you up front "I have no idea what I'm doing" and "I really appreciate you helping me"...
THEN as soon you start- they're right over your shoulder either telling you HOW to do it or tell you that you're doing it wrong.
I mean, that just seems ignorant on their part. Why not check for rodent damage? Especially if there has been previous rodent damage? On the same piece of equipment, even?
That sounds like laziness or incompetence at least.
I was fortunate never to get a bad computer, nothing that ever crashed my computer. Lots of minor ones that needed clearer out, but fortunately nothing that ever bricked a computer or lost me any data.
I haven't bricked- they brick themselves on my behalf.
I had an old WD HD and, apparently the little piece of ceramic on the read-head had enough of my degeneracy and said "fuck it" and gave up and rattled around at 7200 RPM completely shredding the disc. THAT is a noise you are NOT prepared for...ever. Pants were shit.
I've had IDE controllers fail on motherboards- and this was back when you had to manually set the jumpers for EVERYTHING, ZIF sockets were NOT user-friendly, RAM had to be not only paired, but by the same Manf., THEN you got deal with DMA and IRQ conflicts all night... There were no "smart phones" to Google solutions- it was YOU, whiskey, and trouble-shooting. Good Times.
Probably around 642. I (still) have a bad habit of "middle-clicking" and opening new tabs*- to go back and read later. One day I accidentally clicked on the "X" and it said "Are you sure you want to close 642 tabs?" (Of course, I cancelled it and probably opened up another 200 or more after).
*WHICH is super easy to do here with all the different threads....probably have at least 100 for LC alone now...
