ok.. so your just missing the marriage part. you want games with multiple wives, not just girls. hmm.. well. I guess that's possible in games. but in reality. not many countries will let you do that. But... we are talking fantasy here, that's what we are all here for. fantasy, not reality.. Maybe you should try to talk to someone that knows how to make a game in renpy for example. and then maybe get someone that knows how to create the art. and you make the story.. Then you will get your game. and also make others like you happy.

The game Sisterly Lust ends with the MC marrying a bunch of people. In the game I am making the MC has only married one person so far (it's her second marriage, but the first husband is dead); but she'll marry more before the game is over. So it exists.

Why it is not more common, I suspect the answer is two-fold: The majority taste is focused more on visceral parts, so us who feel that marriage makes it hotter are in a minority. And since marriage isn't a usual trope, I think most AVN devs don't even thing about whether to include polygamy in their games.

I think it's too difficult, and why would you want to see your girl behind your back going down on another guy, if it's in an orgy with you, that's a different story, but then it isn't polygami either.

Seeing the amount of people complaining about NTR on these kind of forums, I would suggest that poly isn't very popular.

I already have problems defending the idea that if I fuck 2 girls, those 2 girls are allowed to interact with each other in a sexual way, without me getting upset or anything.

I don't want to feed the war that will be created when those girls would go fuck their hubbies behind my back. And having 2 girls go down on each other wouldn't make me a cuckold, would it ?

I just don't like the idea, of 20 horny girls that want to fuck you every second of the day, and after that just go talking with each other like they are just sisters or friends...

The closest thing I've seen to a game take a genuinely shot at polygamy that's not just harem "guy gets lots of girls who are exclusively his" wish fulfillment schlock would probably be the game Seeds of Chaos, the relationship you can develop between the male protagonist, his wife, and the minotaur blacksmith.

Truth is, I think the reason why you don't see polygamy in games is because the people writing the scenario and games both don't understand nor care about it outside of the harem aspect of someone of one gender having multiple partners exclusive to them (and who MAYBE interact with the others in the harem as long as it's sexy for the MC/audience). It's honestly just monogamy with multiple partners and extra steps. Doesn't help that there's chuds who scream NTR at their own shadows and make a big fuss.

Harem tag, that its polygamy is one of my favorites, but even in novels/games it's not possible to realize if they are based in the real world in an occidental country in modern times even in the medieval, while in fantasy worlds it can be possible, I am talking about a legalized polygamy where you can take as many women as you like as your wives legally and not just living with them in your house and being in a romantic relationship as its done in pretty much all the harem/polygamy games.

I don't have much to add, but i 100% agree. The "Harem" tag are most about cheating or random sex with random women.
And even when there is agreement between the characters, there is always a "oficial" wife over the other female leads...

Yeah pretty much, a lot of people just prefer more of a "I'm the only one allowed to date other people, not you" approach in games

Harem is only half poly since its mostly only the protagonist who has multiple partners.
Some harem games allow the girls to have fun with each other, these are closer to poly but still not close enough.
Only when the girls are allowed to have sex outside the harem (even with gender restriction like no guys) it is really poly, but then its not a real harem anymore.

There's already harem content in virtually EVERY game. The fact that polyamory is more common than monogamy kind of reners the question the op raised moot.
