If you notice when Jack is bringing his stuff in from the land-rover. He has the AK47 in his bag.
Jack brought the MP5 from the Armenian guy later on.

But for sure 7.62 is a bit much for Foxy, MP5 is safer for us all lol

Love my MP5 and it is a great tool to train the beginner or equip the mass challenged like little Foxy.

I don't have any submachine gun experience myself sadly, but it's so widely used and for so long that it's a classic today.

For a short time i considered the MP5k or the MP7 but i figured it was the best choice for her.

It was both HK's best and worst decision. The perfect smg at the height of its potential use and yet so well done that any and all attempts to replace it so they could make more profit with upgrades and change overs failed. The only downside is the insane entry cost. Once you have it in your inventory, there really is no need to change.


It's something Foxy could control with ease with little effort and she isn't facing armored targets.

Has the MP7 not seen some success in replacing the MP5?
Would there be an ammo option for armored targets or lightly armored targets?

I was trained on the HK G3A3 and the C7.
The G3A3 was better I think, for learning the basics because it's less forgiving but for sure the C7 was much easier to get proficient with.

Sure there was some transition because politicians love spending money that isn't theirs and the 7 was cheaper. It wasn't better though (worse in some ways). 7 is still a pistol caliber round like the 5 and thus useless against body armor.

You have a few that made attempts at small caliber smg's with better pen, like the P90. The problem is a lack of lethality in those cases.

For someone like Foxy, and her situation, the benefits are simple; (Things your MC would likely consider for her given his training)
Low recoil and moderate rate of fire means easy to control.
9mm that isn't a +P isn't an over penetrator so no concern for who or what is beyond a wall or target (even less so if using subsonic rounds)
Slap a suppressor on it and she doesn't lose situational awareness from muzzle flash or hearing damage (especially indoors or confined spaces)
It's light and compact form makes it easier for her to not be windmilling the muzzle from arm fatigue.

There are a lot of other benefits but those are the most basic and important

And Foxy deserves only the best

Yeah, my thinking too and the asset does have a suppressor.

Foxy will get to play with a few other things when the time is right
