Just needed to vent! I picked up a ban at Fuck95 for a few days. They seriously hate me. The best part is they left the supposed violating comment up in a quoted response. I would love to know what I did to piss them off so much. I have been online in various forums since 1996 and nowhere have I ever been hounded like there.

Even this place is becoming more and more like F.95.zone. Since I've joined, too much locked threads and censorship. The game LWA by Lain Games is another example. Long story short it was banned from here too, with the excuse of it being too realistic, which it is not.

I recommend FOSS alternatives that are decentralized. You can't trust private sites. Check out Mastodon and Lemmy for example.

Apparently Summer Story is another game there with "special protection" that you aren't allowed to criticize much. They really love those blue ball no sex games there.

I have never been banned but I did get posts deleted for trolling because apparently disagreeing that a game is perfect and the best thing ever made while all the posts attacking me were left up.
Sometimes I do think the fact I have an old account helps because I really do not understand a lot of moderation decisions there.
Some people/devs are allowed to be harassed and some aren't allowed the tiniest bit of criticism and some threads are unmoderated hellholes and others are so hugboxy.

I've never been banned, received warning, strike or whatever, but one thing did make me think something was fishy.
Someday I game I follow got an update, and there wasn't a compressed version.
At the time my internet connection was slow as hell, so I must've spent 3 hours or so donwloading the game, and when I extracted the files from the zipped folder I had a surprise: it was just a gibberish file and a meme.
Apparently some mod thought it was funny to vandalize a game thread in there, and in my knowledge nothing was done against it.

I'll just explain some shit I have done 100 times already.

Threads being locked or deleted: When it becomes problematic or solved to prevent spammers from turning it into a chat thread which should've been a helpful thread OR when they blatantly break the damn rules that are made to PROTECT the site.

Censorship: To protect our asses. Have to be an idiot or new here to not see that after all we've been through. So yeah, anything related to a damn kid is going to get censored.

As for LWA, they were one of the reasons our host got reported. Again, have to be an idiot or new here to not see that after all we've been through. IF they were going to be added here, they'd need to make a lot of changes where the host won't threaten to nuke the fuck out of us if they found out.

You're more than welcome to leave. But getting mad about some small things and then throwing out that F 9 5 comparison bomb around like it's a big thing? Smh. Get out of here.

Trust me. We've been beating ourselves up for it, too but I think that game was the only one they used as an example to try and get this whole site shut down.

I honestly don't know. With the site getting attacked from all directions(It has since slowed down since the coin system), it's hard to know what is what nowadays. We're almost positive it was an actual human doing this crap because of the coin system. There's just no way of knowing because of these policy stuff.
