Violence towards the love interests or... characters with sex encounters. Specifically stuff that ends in death, significant maiming, dismemberment, etc. Gore, guro, and snuff essentially.
Too much vore is a no too.

One dev of a now-completed VN was apparently so fond of his sphincter-wink animation that every sex scene became anal. It's fine to have anal as an option, but to be the almost exclusive "finish" to most scenes, it gets old.

In coffee, for me, there's too much sugar... and not enough sugar... and just right.

Same, I don't want to see LI get badly hurt. Also scenes where MC saves LI from rape and then procede to have sex is weird, unsexy and unbelieveable. I get that the victim would want to take back control after that but not so soon.

If a game goes overboard in the violence, like, a good story if there is fighting and therefore violence ect is fine, even some sexual violence stuff, but sometimes it goes over into just being kinda violenceporn and thats a big ew for me.

I agree with that about The Red Room. It was fine and looked cool and then suddenly out of nowhere mutilations and other sadistic stuff... not even in monster or zombie games you see that shit.
